Well, it's been a long time since I posted, I know. I had a job fair last week that was keeping me busy for a while and now I'm trying to catch up on all the schoolwork I neglected. I can't wait to graduate. I'm looking at research and development for a pharmaceutical company so if anyone can help me out, let me know.
Anyway, went home for one night this weekend. Enjoyed a crab feast with John's dad on Friday and then Saturday night went to see the Rolling Stones concert with my parents in Hershey. What an amazing show! It was my second time seeing them but it was by far the most breathtaking concert I have seen and will ever see in my life time! My parents seats were third row, right on the catwalk (center). John and I sat on the first bleacher section with an awesome view. It couldn't have been any better. We really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait till our next show.
Beck was the opener and he really got the crowd rocking. Really creative use of instruments and the dancing was amazing. I would really like to see Beck again, also.
The Stones best highlights:
- All the fireworks and pyrotechnics
- A segment of the stage moved out on the catwalk on wheels and they moved to the center of the stadium to play about 4 songs
- They sang Ray Charles' "Night Time Is the Right Time" as a memorial
- They played my fav song, "Paint It Black"
- A HUGE blowup tongue came out in the middle of the show
Check out the pics. Enjoy.
It's also very important to realize that the Nittany Lions are 5-0!!! Awesome job this weekend putting number 18, Minnesota, in their place 44-14! Let's keep this streak going with Ohio State next weekend! It's gonna be a crazy night game!
